ANGLED THERMOELECTRIC TEMPERATURE SENSORS WITH A METAL PROTECTIVE TUBE AND A MEASURING INSERT
The MTC7U series is designed for applications with operating temperatures up to 1100 °C and a requirement for high mechanical durability of the design. Owing to the replaceable thermocouple measuring insert, it is also suitable for applications with increased chemical aggressiveness of the measured environment.
The measuring element is a base metal thermocouple of type J, K or N. The thermocouple’s output signal is a voltage whose dependence on temperature is defined by the ČSN EN 60584-1 ed. 2 standard.
The sensor consists of a head, an extension piece, an elbow, a protective tube and a measuring insert. The head is fitted with a cable gland for connecting a compensation cable.
The sensor can be fitted with a temperature converter. A PR mounting flange can be used to secure the sensor at the point of measurement.
