Thermocouple temperature sensor with a reduced metal protective tube and a measuring insert.
- tube made of 1.4841 stainless steel, diameter 14 mm, with a reduced tip diameter of 6 mm
- base metal thermocouple, type J, K or N
Thermocouple temperature sensor with a reduced metal protective tube and a measuring insert.
The MTC8VR series is designed for applications with operating temperatures up to 1100 °C and a requirement for mechanical durability of the design combined with a fast temperature response of the sensor. Optional parameters include a fixed welded threaded fitting with an immersion length according to customer requirements.
The measuring element is a base metal thermocouple of type J, K or N. The thermocouple’s output signal is a voltage whose dependence on temperature is defined by the ČSN EN 60584-1 ed. 2 standard.
The sensor consists of a head, a protective metal tube with a diameter of 14 mm and a reduced tip diameter of 6 mm, and a measuring insert. The head is fitted with a cable gland for connecting a compensation cable.
The sensor can be fitted with a temperature converter. A PR mounting flange can be used to secure the sensor at the point of measurement.
