THERMOELECTRIC TEMPERATURE SENSORS WITH A METAL SHEATH AND MINERAL INSULATION

The MTC11U series consists of formable, yet relatively robust sensors with a fast temperature response, suitable for industrial environments. The sensor includes an attached compensation lead.

The measuring element is a base metal thermocouple of type J, K or N. The thermocouple’s output signal is a voltage whose dependence on temperature is defined by the ČSN EN 60584-1 ed. 2 standard.

The thermocouple is encapsulated in a metal sheath with mineral insulation according to the ČSN EN 61515 standard (mineral-insulated, metal-sheathed thermocouple). The sheath is flexible and the sensor can be easily adapted to the point of measurement. The sensor further consists of a transition piece, a cable and a cable termination.

PS sliding threaded fittings can be used to secure the sensor at the point of measurement.
