CABLE THERMOCOUPLE TEMPERATURE SENSORS

The MTC12K series consists of cable temperature sensors that allow attachment with a screw, under a cable tie, or into a bore hole in the measured object. It represents an economically advantageous solution at the cost of certain compromises in sensor properties. All basic sensor parameters are determined by the type of lead used.

The measuring element is a base metal thermocouple of type J, K, L or N. The thermocouple’s output signal is a voltage whose dependence on temperature is defined by the ČSN EN 60584-1 ed. 2 standard, or by DIN 43 710 for the type L thermocouple.

The sensor consists of thermocouple lead and a lug, and is terminated with stripped ends or a connector.
