THERMOELECTRIC TEMPERATURE SENSORS WITH A METAL PROTECTIVE TUBE, A MEASURING INSERT AND A CONVERTER

The MTC16NP series, designed to be screwed into a welded socket, is intended for applications with operating temperatures up to 1100 °C, where a converter to a unified output signal built into the sensor head is required, and where high mechanical durability of the design is not simultaneously required.

The measuring element is a base metal thermocouple of type J, K, L or N. The thermocouple output signal is a voltage whose dependence on temperature is defined by the CSN EN 60584-1 ed. 2 standard, or by DIN 43 710 for the type L thermocouple.

The sensor consists of a head, a converter, a protective metal tube, a threaded fitting and a measuring insert.
