Temperature sensors of the MTC22 series are designed as an economically advantageous alternative to robust industrial designs. Owing to the small diameter of the protective tube and the overall compact dimensions, the sensors are suitable for applications with limited installation space.
The measuring element is a precious metal or base metal thermocouple of type S or K, N. The thermocouple output signal is a voltage whose dependence on temperature is defined by the CSN EN 60584-1 ed. 2 standard.
The sensor consists of a head, a holding pipe, a single protective ceramic tube and a capillary, or beads. The head is fitted with a cable gland for connecting a compensation cable.
