Thermocouple temperature sensor with a metal protective tube and an inspection hole.
- tube made of 1.4841 stainless steel, diameter 21.3 mm
- base metal thermocouple, type J, K or N
Thermocouple temperature sensor with a metal protective tube and an inspection hole.
Temperature sensors of the MTC7TV series are designed for applications requiring high mechanical durability and operating temperatures of up to 1100 °C. The inspection hole is used for inserting a reference thermometer, which allows check measurements to be performed without having to disassemble the sensor.
The measuring element is a base metal thermocouple of type J, K or N. The thermocouple output signal is a voltage whose dependence on temperature is defined by the CSN EN 60584-1 ed. 2 standard.
The sensor consists of a head, a holding pipe, a protective metal tube and a measuring insert. The head is fitted with a cable gland for connecting a compensation cable.
The sensor can be fitted with a temperature converter. A PR mounting flange can be used to secure the sensor at the measurement point.
