THERMOELECTRIC TEMPERATURE SENSORS WITH A METAL SHEATH AND MINERAL INSULATION
The MTC11R series consists of formable, yet relatively robust sensors with a fast temperature response, designed for use as portable handheld probes.
The measuring element is a base metal thermocouple of type J, K or N. The thermocouple’s output signal is a voltage whose dependence on temperature is defined by the ČSN EN 60584-1 ed. 2 standard.
The sensor consists of a thermocouple encapsulated in a metal sheath with mineral insulation according to the ČSN EN 61515 standard, a handle, a cable and a cable termination. The sheath is flexible and the sensor can be easily adapted to the point of measurement.
It is advisable to combine the sensor with a portable indicator.
