THERMOELECTRIC TEMPERATURE SENSORS WITH A METAL PROTECTIVE TUBE AND A MEASURING INSERT
The MTC16SP series is designed for applications with operating temperatures up to 1100 °C, where a converter for a standardized output signal built into the sensor head is required, and where high mechanical durability of the design is not simultaneously required. Optional parameters include a fixed welded threaded fitting with an immersion length according to customer requirements.
The measuring element is a base metal thermocouple of type J, K, L or N. The thermocouple’s output signal is a voltage whose dependence on temperature is defined by the ČSN EN 60584-1 ed. 2 standard, or by DIN 43 710 for the type L thermocouple.
The sensor consists of a head, a converter, a protective metal tube, a threaded fitting and a measuring insert. The head is fitted with a cable gland for connecting a compensation cable.
