Paddle-type liquid flow switches
The flow switch consists of a lever mechanism with a magnet at its upper end. Above this magnet is a reed relay, located outside the flow. A change in flow causes the lever mechanism to deflect. This changes the magnet’s position relative to the reed relay, causing it to switch on. When the flow decreases, the mechanism returns to its initial position and the relay switches off.
