THERMOELECTRIC TEMPERATURE SENSORS WITH A MEASURING INSERT FOR INSTALLATION INTO A PROTECTIVE TUBE
The MTC8J series is designed for installation into welded or screwed protective tubes (the tube is not included in the delivery).
The measuring element is a base metal thermocouple of type J, K or N. The thermocouple’s output signal is a voltage whose dependence on temperature is defined by the ČSN EN 60584-1 ed. 2 standard.
The sensor consists of a head, an extension piece and a measuring insert. The head is fitted with a cable gland for connecting a compensation cable.
The sensor can be fitted with a temperature converter. A PR mounting flange can be used to secure the sensor at the point of measurement.
